Ancient Maya Ruins, Day of the Dead, and Nadir Passage in Chiapas, Mexico

Led by Artist and Archaeoastronomer Alonso Mendez, this 12-day tour will start in Villahermosa, Tabasco.

Its path will lead through the lowlands and into the highlands of Chiapas. The ruins visited include Palenque, Tonina, and Chiapa de Corzo. The days leading up to Day of the Dead will be spent in the highlands, visiting various traditional Maya towns. The final activity will be a boat trip through Sumidero Canyon before flying out of Chiapa de Corzo the next morning.
